INTRODUCING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF A ZEBRA BUSINESS

It’s hard to believe that it has been 3 years since we launched The Zebra Project with the purpose of exploring the future world of work. So much has changed since our launch and, even in the face of (and partly because of) a global pandemic, so much progress has been made against the principles we set out with at the beginning of the project.

Yet there is still so much that can be done. Now more than ever, an exciting opportunity is arising for ‘good’ businesses to take the spotlight in helping fix the problems we have collectively created within the economy, society and the planet, as well as in addressing the inequalities that have historically arisen from the dominant economic models of the world.

While we haven’t been able to continue with our campfire discussion events during the last year, we have been continuing discussions on key topics through our Zebra Talk podcast series.

We have also taken this time to reflect on our learnings from the past 3 years, reviewing previous discussion topics, the findings from our ‘Future Fundamentals’ report and the effects and substantial progress made towards the ‘future world of work’ during  the past 12 months.

The outcome is an evolved framework and approach for The Zebra Project that supports innovative leaders in looking up and out in a rapidly evolving landscape – focusing on what we believe to be the fundamentals of a business committed to being a driver of positive change.

Purpose & Impact
Ethical Innovation
Culturally Inclusive
Connected by Design

Our aim for The Zebra Project has always been to be a creative community driving positive change - a network that supports and fosters both curiosity and learning, finding the best thinking and implementation advice from both within and outside the community, filtering out the noise for leaders that are committed to experimentation whilst remaining pragmatic to next steps.

Working collectively and collaboratively we can make a difference.

We will be reintroducing ways in which we can foster discussion around these topics in our new virtual existence. If you’d like to participate, please let us know and we’d love to hear your thoughts on the fundamentals we propose as well as what your feel might be missing.
